Ipod Touch - Problems playing youtube videos (Speed is very Slow)

From India and from the past few days I have been unable to play youtube videos smoothly on my ipod touch (firmware 1.1.3) using the wifi network setup at my home. I have a 512k connection and using the same wifi network I am able to run videos smoothly from my desktop as well as the laptop.

In router log's I noticed that whenever we connect to youtube's video from laptop/desktop the following servers are hit

ash-v310.ash.youtube.com Source: 172.16.1.3 Friday, 22 Feb 2008 08:55:55
i.ytimg.com Source: 172.16.1.3 Friday, 22 Feb 2008 08:55:55
video-stats.video.google.com Source: 172.16.1.3 Friday, 22 Feb 2008 08:55:57


whereas in the case if ipod touch the following servers are connected

vp.video.google.com Source: 172.16.1.2 Friday, 22 Feb 2008 08:48:26
bffg.vp.video.l.google.com Source: 172.16.1.2 Friday, 22 Feb 2008 08:48:28

Ping to all the above 4 servers is ok with time < 400 ms.

Is anyone else also facing the same problem ? Any ideas what the issue could be ? Is there a problem with my ipod touch ?
